Work You'll Do As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of custom SAP ABAP solutions, leveraging advanced ABAP and ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (ABAP OO) techniques. You will work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables, ensuring that all solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with project objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining SAP FIORI applications, integrating them seamlessly with the SAP S/4HANA platform, and participating in all phases of the S/4HANA implementation lifecycle-from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will play a key role in optimizing and migrating existing ABAP code to adhere to S/4HANA best practices and standards. In addition, you will support and enhance SAP FI Funds Management (FM) functionalities, collaborating with finance teams to ensure compliance with federal requirements and troubleshooting any issues related to Funds Management processes or integration points. Your experience in the federal sector will be essential as you apply knowledge of federal business processes and compliance standards to deliver tailored SAP solutions, while ensuring all development activities meet federal security, documentation, and audit standards. Working in an agile project environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers-and prepare comprehensive technical documentation, such as design specifications, test scripts, and deployment guides, to support the overall success of the implementation. Qualifications: Required: + Bachelor's Degree required + 6 + years of experience SAP ABAP Development + 3 + years SAP FI Funds Management (FM) + Experience working in Federal space. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. + Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance + Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,000 to $172,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
