Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory & Logistics Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain function with a strong focus on leveraging technology and data-driven solutions to optimize performance. This role is critical in ensuring timely delivery of materials, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and compliance with government property requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of inventory, including management of government-owned property, in full compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage Costpoint Inventory modules to ensure accuracy, accountability, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee BSI management and ensure adherence to system processes.
  • Direct shipping and receiving operations, ensuring materials are deployed quickly and efficiently.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, leveraging AI-driven tools and technology to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
  • Provide oversight of purchasing and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely acquisitions.
  • Monitor schedules and metrics related to material delivery performance, enabling the organization to Operate with Confidence in meeting program milestones.
  • Collaborate with Quality to validate and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL), ensuring supplier reliability and alignment with performance standards.
  • Support quoting and proposal efforts through material cost estimation, vendor quoting, and market analysis.
  • Drive technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Direct and mentor staff across Purchasing, Inventory, Tool Control, and Shipping/Receiving functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint Inventory Management and BSI systems, or similar systems required.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% between our Colorado facility and our Dayton, OH facility.
  • Strong understanding of government property management regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technology-driven solutions for supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting government contracting environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance requirements is a plus
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
